Black Bean Tacos


2 - 14.5 ounce cans black beans, rinsed, drained
1 medium onion, peeled, diced
1 bell pepper, cored, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 1/2 teaspoons Chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
1 teaspoon Oregano
a pinch (or more) or Cayenne pepper, optional
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1/2 lime
1/4 cup vegetable broth
2 teaspoons hot sauce
Tortillas
2 tablespoons oil

Preheat over medium heat a large skillet with oil and saute onion pepper till translucent and soft.  Add garlic, chili powder, oregano, cumin salt and pepper, cooking for 30 seconds longer.

Add beans, cilantro, lime, broth and hot sauce, simmer till almost no liquid remains, about 10 minutes.

Serve with warm tortillas and favorite toppings.
