Chili Roasted Peanuts



A quick and easy, give away treat or party snack! 



2 cups raw, shelled peanuts
1/2 tablespoon preferred cooking oil
1/2, plus 1/4 teaspoon salt, divided
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/4  teaspoon chili powder


Preheat oven to 350.  Line pan, or use non-stick pan.  Combine peanuts with oil and spices till coated. Spread out evenly on pan.  Bake for 15 minutes.  Toss with the extra 1/4 teaspoon salt once removed from oven.  Serve warm or cool to store for packaging as gifts.
