Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting


Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting
*Frosts about 12-14 large cupcakes or 24 mini's.

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons ground  cinnamon
3 tablespoons heavy cream

Beat butter on medium-high setting in electric mixer or with hand mixer, till light in color. About 2 minutes.  Reduce speed to medium-low and slowly add sugar, 1/4 - 1/2 cup at a time to avoid a sugar mess!  Add vanilla and heavy cream with mixer still running, scrape if necessary, beat for 30 seconds longer.  If frosting is too thick add more heavy cream, 1/2 teaspoon at a time. Enjoy!
